Every audiobook has a story, but the story behind the recording of Untitled is one for the books itself.
When Ally Ferreira took on my project, she was living in New York City, fighting a daily battle against the rumble of passing trains just to get a clean recording. She was crushing it, but right as we were nearing the finish line, life threw a massive curveball: she decided to move to Florida at the absolute last minute.
Suddenly, boxes were packed, movers were waiting, and we were down to the wire. I found myself practically begging her, "Please, just finish the last ten minutes of the book before you leave!" She said, "ok.” She completely reassembled her studio to finish ten minutes at the last minute. I am forever grateful to Ally.
Surviving that frantic, train-dodging, state-moving recording process didn't just give me a phenomenal audiobook, it gave me a best friend. Ally brought so much heart, dedication, and humor to this project, and I know you’ll hear that magic in every single chapter.
